These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MissionAlert (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What the Service is — and is not
The Service compiles publicly available and licensed information to produce advisory briefs and alerts. It does not detect every relevant event, does not dispatch responders, and does not provide medical, legal, or professional security advice. Any recommended action is advisory. Nothing in the Service creates a duty on us to intervene, respond, or rescue.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for your account credentials, and for the actions of users you invite to your organization. You must have the necessary rights and, where required, consent to add any individual as a protectee or to share their location and itinerary.
3. Acceptable use
- Use the Service only for lawful protective and safety purposes.
- Do not use it to stalk, harass, surveil, or track any person without their knowledge and lawful basis.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
4. SMS & notifications
SMS alerts are opt-in. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help. Message and data
rates may apply. Delivery depends on your carrier and device; we and carriers are not liable for delayed or
undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for the full SMS program terms.
5. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change plan features or pricing on notice; changes apply at your next renewal.
6. Data & privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ALERTS WILL BE TIMELY, ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR DELIVERED, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL DETECT ANY PARTICULAR THREAT.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MISSIONALERT AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF LIFE, INJURY, OR PROPERTY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold MissionAlert harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or the rights of any person.
10. Changes & termination
We may modify these Terms or suspend or terminate the Service or your account, with or without notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
